Fictional project: creation of a fun and replayable serious game – JATAF
Context: final challenge at ISCOM: designing a serious game that’s creative, accessible, and scalable.
Our team rose to the challenge by creating JATAF – "Jeu Avec Tout À Faire" which means game with everything to do, a name built from our initials.
Concept: "JATAF"
Play as a wild inventor and create a brand-new object using 5 Object cards, tailored to a specific target. You have only 1 minute and 30 seconds to draw your invention – all while under pressure from Malus cards and a random sound timer.
The first player to use all 5 cards and shout “JATAF” ends the round.
Each player then presents their invention, and everyone votes for the best one.
At the end of the game, the player with the most points is crowned JATAF King!
My Contributions:
Co-developed the game concept
Designed the logo and visual identity
Created all the cards (Object, Target, Malus, Forced Pitch)
Designed the whiteboards and markers
Laid out the rulebook leaflet
Designed the game box
Participated in the final presentation and hosted our game table
Award: Winner of the Audience Favorite Award, voted by our peers – a wonderful way to wrap up 5 years of study!
